Lead trainer Eda Warren knows her stuff

Eda draws on her rich and longtime experience in graphic design. She brings that real-world experience into the classroom so that you aren't just learning what the software can do, but are learning the skills for doing layout for print and web, creating images and graphics in ways that are industry-savy.

Besides offering software training in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, InCopy and QuarkXPress, Eda has taught graphic design principles to hundreds of students in this country and abroad for fifteen years through Dynamic Graphics, a company now owned by JupiterMedia. The two-day Advanced Design course is still available and covers key concepts of layout, do's and don'ts of type, color basics, choosing color selectively and thinking creatively. The format combines slide-lecture, hands-on exercises and critique of student work. The class can be delivered on- or offsite.

Eda’s writing and design work have been published in regional and national magazines, including InDesign magazine, books and brochures. She has spoken at national publishing conferences and trade shows, including Macworld Boston.
